Support the HMRC

There are a number of ways you can help to support the HMRC, through one of our benefactors or through the
Houston Public Library System.

Restoration Update

Learn about the ongoing restoration of the historic Julia Ideson Building, home of the HMRC. This project is supported by the Julia Ideson Library Preservation Partners.

New to the Collections

Find out about the HMRC's recent acquisitions. We are continually adding resources to the Texas Room's holdings as well as processing archival collections. Keep abreast of these additions with the HMRC Gazette.

Exhibits

Due to the ongoing restoration of the historic Julia Ideson Building, home of the HMRC, our active exhibits program has been suspended until re-opening in December 2011.
