Learn about the restoration of the historic Julia Ideson Building, home of the HMRC. This project was supported by the Julia Ideson Library Preservation Partners.
The current exhibit, When Camelot Came to Houston: John F. Kennedy and the League of United Latin American Citizens, features photographs and other materials documenting the historic LULAC reception for JFK on November 21, 1963. The exhibition is open through March 4, 2014.
Because HMRC is a special collections library, planning your visit may be helpful.
