CLAYTON LIBRARY EVENTS

The Clayton Library offers programming each month focused on genealogy, with special programming each October during Family History month. These education sessions are designed to offer information and research help on specific topic and sources available at Clayton Library and beyond. We highlight books, microfilm, periodical and database resources. Sessions cover internet topics, pre-recorded webinars and videos, special lectures, sources, methods and much more. Not every topic is offered each month.

For up to date information sent right to your email box, please subscribe to our electronic newsletters - the Clayton Extra, a monthly e-mail newsletter that announces the classes, events, and exhibits occurring that month or the quarterly Clayton Town Crier, an e-mail newsletter that offers insight into the research resources available at Clayton Library with a listing of upcoming events and exhibits. Both can be subscribed to by visiting the Houston Public Library NextReads page and selecting "Genealogy: Clayton Extra" or selecting "Genealogy" for the Clayton Town Crier.

To register for the classes listed below, please call 832-393-2600. All classes are free and open to the public.
